DALLAS, TEXAS (April 5, 2006) – Carrollton-based Aimbridge Hospitality, an experienced hotel management and market-positioning maverick, announces its venture partnership with JMI Realty, a development and construction management firm specializing in the hospitality arena, in concert with majority equity partner Merrill Lynch, and the recent acquisition of the Phoenix Inn Suites brand.
Phoenix Inn Suites, regionally recognized for superior price to value ratio of its premier all-suite accommodations, boasts an eleven-site portfolio, with eight hotels in Oregon, two properties in Washington, and one location in Arizona. The partnership plans to invest $7.5 million in guest room renovations. Asset improvement is the primary focus of this partnership’s overall goal of brand expansion.
